The New London Chamber Ensemble and guest pianist Angela Hewitt will present a sublime programme at Wigmore Hall on Wednesday 27th July 2011.

The concert, Mozart’s Mechanical Marvels, will feature some rare ‘mechanical’ miniatures by Mozart arranged for winds by composers Philip Cashian, Julian Philips, Sally Beamish and Martin Butler.  The programme is topped off with Mozart’s renowned Quintet for piano and winds in E flat K452, which was, he said, “the best thing I have written in my life”.

The concert will be introduced and illustrated by Dr Fiona Elliott.

Tickets will be available from Wigmore Hall from 1st April 2011.
