Well, the Phoenix Piano Trio’s Beyond Beethoven series got off to a wonderful and jam-packed start this week, with concerts at Blackheath, 22 Mansfield Street, The Forge in Camden, Walnut Cottage in Hampshire, to be rounded off with a performance tonight (in 2 hours and ten minutes’ time!) at the Holywell Music Room in Oxford.  If you are around Oxford tonight, go along!  Tickets are still available on the door.

The exuberant Opus 1 Beethoven trio was a wonderfully youthful start to this series, and a great complement to the youth and energy of the new trio.  You should definitely come and check out the later concerts in the series: the next one is at the Forge on 27th April.  Tickets and more info here.
